HippoScape Games Privacy Policy

General — applies to every game listed in this policy

Accounts, advertising, and tracking

These games do not require a HippoScape account. They do not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics tools, and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We do not automatically receive your locally saved gameplay information.

Local information and backups

Deleting an app may delete its local information. Device backups and restoration are controlled by your device settings and Apple’s services. Restoring a purchase does not necessarily restore game progress.

In-App Purchases

Purchases made within our games are processed by Apple through the App Store. Our games use Apple’s services to verify purchases and restore eligible purchases. HippoScape does not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple may provide us with transaction information and sales reports under its own terms and privacy policy.

Contacting us

If you email us for support, send a game suggestion, or choose to send us your results, we receive your email address, message, and any information or attachments you include. We use that information to respond, provide support, and consider your feedback. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Support correspondence is handled through our email service provider and kept only as needed to address your request, maintain relevant support records, or meet legal obligations. We may disclose information when legally required. To request deletion of correspondence you sent us, contact the address below; legally required records may need to be retained.

External services

Apple and any external websites or apps you choose to open process information under their own policies. This policy covers the listed HippoScape games, not those external services. See Apple’s privacy policy.

Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it and delete it as appropriate.

We will update this policy and its effective date when our practices change.

Beat David — game-specific information

Information stored on your device

Beat David stores your player initials, settings, daily-attempt status, scores, times, and game history on your device to run the game and show your results.

Sharing your results

Sharing is optional. When you choose to share, Beat David supplies result text and an image to Apple’s message composer or share sheet. This content may include your player initials, game name, date, time, and result, as shown in the preview. You choose the recipient or service and whether to send or post it.

These features do not give Beat David access to your address book, message history, or X account. The app does not send HippoScape a notification when you send a message or publish a post. Sharing through X or another service is subject to that service’s privacy practices and your account settings; posts may be public. Public posts, including posts with #BeatDavid, may be visible to HippoScape and others.

Jacks or Better Master — game-specific information

Information stored on your device

The app may store your virtual bank, statistics, settings, selected and custom pay tables, award progress, daily-play status, and purchase entitlement on your device. We do not automatically receive your hands, holds, strategy results, or game history.

No real-money gambling

Jacks or Better Master is a strategy trainer and entertainment game. It does not accept real-money wagers or award cash or prizes.
